Privacy policy for event and meeting registration

When you sign up for a webinar or digital event organised by Yuzu Educational Thinking AB, we process your personal data. Here we describe how and why.

What data do we collect?​

When you register, we collect:

  • Name — to identify you as a participant
  • Email address — to send the meeting link and any follow-up
  • Organisation — to understand which organisations are taking part

Why do we process the data?​

The data is used to:

  • Administer your registration and confirm your participation
  • Send a link to the event (via Microsoft Teams)
  • Follow up with relevant information after the event, if you have consented to it

The processing is based on legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) — that is, our interest in administering and running the event in an orderly way. If we send follow-up marketing communication, this is based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

How long is the data kept?​

Your data is kept for up to 6 months after the event, after which it is deleted. If you have consented to marketing communication, your data is kept until you withdraw your consent.

Is the data shared with anyone?​

We do not share any data with third parties for marketing purposes. The event is held via Microsoft Teams, which means that Microsoft processes data in its capacity as a data processor in accordance with Microsoft's data protection agreement.

Your rights​

You have the right to:

  • Access the data we store about you
  • Request rectification of incorrect data
  • Request erasure of your data
  • Object to the processing if it is based on legitimate interest
  • Withdraw consent at any time, if the processing is based on consent
